Aura
How the aura is measured
| Ĝ, grade, assigned at inspection | II | 0.750 |
| Ê, edge density, the embellishment | 0.160 | 0.000 |
| Ĥ, colour entropy, bits | 3.24 | 0.018 |
| K̂, RMS contrast | 0.198 | 0.502 |
s = 0.5 Ĝ + 0.3 Ê + 0.1 Ĥ + 0.1 K̂ = 0.4270, ŝ = 0.5709 across the inventory. Aura = 8,000 + 2,000ŝ. Nothing in the inventory reads below 8,000. An algorithm, after al-Khwārizmī, الخوارزمي.
Fabrication
| Composition | Strapless embroidered corset with a floor-sweeping black tulle overlay. |
| TaillesSizes | Offered in EU sizes 34 to 44, cut from the house pattern. Or cut to your own measurements, taken on a fitting call, for €450 more. Measurements in centimetres, or in pieds du roi of 32.48 cm on request. Nobody has requested it. |
| L'établiNotes from the bench | Volume in tulle is a structural problem. With too little support it collapses; with too much it becomes a costume. The gown carries its shape in graded underlayers, with the visible tulle laid over in planned densities and hemmed by hand. |
| Colour | #0B0909 72%#C29487 10%#3B3130 10%#7E6C69 8% Four colours, sampled from photograph 1, by share of the figure. |

1,679 bits, 23 by 73. The two primes of the Arecibo message, 1974, so that anyone who counts can find the grid.
- Rows 1 to 5: the numbers one to ten in binary, as at Arecibo.
- Rows 7 and 8: the inventory number, then the aura.
- Rows 9 and 10: the colour, red, green, blue.
- Rows 12 to 67: the silhouette, segmented from photograph 1.
- Rows 69 to 72: a mark of the house.
Encoded. At the speed of light it would reach Proxima Centauri b on . Nothing has been sent.
